Hiro Yamagata is a one-of-a-kind artist

  • At the request of the United States Olympic Committee, he created the official poster for the Los Angeles Olympic tourism attraction campaign in 1984.
    Since then, he has created official posters for the United States Olympic Committee for five consecutive Olympic Games (Calgary 1988 Winter, Seoul 1988 Summer, Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, and Nagano 1998 Winter).
  • At the request of the Statue of Liberty 100th Anniversary Commemoration Foundation (Chairman: President Reagan), he created the official commemoration poster in 1986.
    Since then, he has a strong friendship with successive US presidents.
  • Contracted with Walt Disney Art Classics in the US in 1992.
  • Directed the venue for the Academy Awards ceremony in 1997.
  • Appointed as the official artist for the Grammy Awards in 2000 by the 2020 Grammy Foundation.
  • Laser installation held at the Guggenheim Museum (Spain) in 2004.
